Most people link their LinkedIn on their resumes.
Recruiters do go check your LinkedIn and how many endorsements you have received as part of your social proof that you can do what they ask you to do. Recruiters also sometimes approach you straight on LinkedIn if your profile is properly optimized.
I just opened up a new LinkedIn account designed specifically to get remote jobs, because I am not ready for my current offline employer to know that I am searching.
The only problem is that on that new profile, I have no endorsements ! So how about we all leave our LinkedIn accounts in the comments and ask what we need to be endorsed for…let me know if you think this is a good idea
