Looking to Break into Remote Customer Service

Hi There, I am looking to move into a Remote Based Technical or Non Technical Customer Support role, ideally in the EST time zone but I can be flexible. I have over 10 years of IT & Technical Customer Support experience, mostly office based although I have also worked remotely and have a dedicated home office set-up. I have applied for loads of jobs and have heard back from a few but secured nothing and am wondering if anyone out there can give me any hints or tips? Maybe my CV is all wrong, maybe my skills are still a bit too technical and office related, I am not really sure sure but have seen lots of jobs I would love to do and believe I have the necessary skills to do them. Any advice or links to positions you think might be right for me, hints or tips would be gratefully appreciated as my current role is on hold due to COVID and I urgently need to find something. Thank you!

Hi @emmak8johnston welcome to our Pangian remote tribe. I’m Mag, the founder of Pangian. I’ve been remote for 10 years now and truly cannot imagine my life without freedom and flexibility of location independence.

When it comes to helping with CV or cover letter we have:

  1. Pangian Remote Academy (next session starting on Monday, June 1).

  2. Pangian resources (scroll to free resources and you will see a lot of video training and blogs with tips for your CV and cover letter)

I hope that helps. Cheers to going remote.
